As you can appreciate, the cost of providing experiences for pupils is not cheap. The Governors like to see visitors invited into school to provide sports workshops, the Chanukah Centre, theatre groups, musicians and we also like to take our pupils out on trips into the community and further afield. From time to time we ask for a parental contribution to meet the cost of these experiences. Whilst this is a contribution, it is not possible for us to provide these experiences unless everyone makes the requested contribution. Without parents’ financial support, these activities cannot go ahead. It is the Governors’ policy to charge for these activities. If you have problems with payment for trips and visits, please speak to us as soon as possible.
In order to comply with the Education Visits legislation, consent forms are sent out to parents to be completed, signed and returned before any pupil is allowed on a school trip.
