L.O. To increase wellbeing by using mindfulness

Year 1 and Year 2 have been working on mindfulness in PSHE.  We listened to a story all about mindfulness and meditation called The Lemonade Hurricane.

These are the techniques Mrs Southward taught us:

  • Palm breathing
  • Finger breathing Om Ma So Ta
  • Relaxation by tensing and relaxing different parts of your body. Then we did some animal picture mindfulness colouring using lots of different colours and colouring calmly and carefully.
