Year 1 have been learning all about plants. Miss Francis planted bean seeds with us and we have taken them home to grow, Some of us have even sent photos back into school of how well they are growing.
We learnt that a wild plant seed grows where it falls, through dispersion, and it doesn’t need to be cared for by humans.
We have also had lots of fun doing a wild plant survey on the field. We took a tally to see which plant was most common and we even made friends with a ladybird!
